Jesse’s involvement in Model UN and the Debate Club at Shawnigan Lake School on Vancouver Island sparked an interest that led him to pursue an Honors Specialization in Political Science (with Distinction) from Western University in London, Ontario.
With his passion for politics and debate furthered solidified following a summer spent during his second year of undergrad in Ottawa, Ontario, Jesse made the choice to attend law school in Calgary, Alberta.
Now through his second year of law school, Jesse looks forward to graduating in 2020 at which point he plans to return home to launch his practice in North Vancouver where he was born and raised.
After working at a gold mine at a young age in the remote area of Mayo, Yukon; seeing the Northern Lights and hearing wolves howl nearby his camp every night, Jesse’s love for the outdoors was solidified.
Jesse can often be found either trekking up the Grouse Grind or exploring another one of our local mountains on his weekends. When not outdoors, Jesse is just as happy to catch a show at the Rio theatre, or watch the sunset at English Bay.
