Kaylene was born and raised in Calgary where she attended the University of Calgary for her Bachelor of Commerce degree. After working in Public Relations and Stakeholder Engagement, as well as gaining years of experience in the Service industry, Kaylene’s interest in law moved her to British Columbia to attend law school. Kaylene graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2017 from Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in Kamloops. During law school, Kaylene acted as Executive Volunteer Coordinator for the TRU student-run SLS Conference Committee and as a student volunteer for the Legal Information Services Centre at TRU. She was awarded the Deans Course Prize for her academic achievement in International Intellectual Property Law.
Kaylene enjoys running, snowboarding in the B.C. mountains and perfecting the latest Pinterest recipe. She also loves exploring her new home on the beautiful North Shore.
