In 2003 Kristen moved from the sunny Okanagan to Vancouver to attend UBC. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in History and Political Science in 2008.  Shortly after finishing her undergrad, Kristen decided to pursue a career as a paralegal.  She completed the in-class portion of the Paralegal Studies program at Capilano University in April of 2011 and she is currently working towards the completion of the practicum portion of the program at Digby Leigh & Company. 

Apart from her professional interests, Kristen has a strong interest in Canadian politics, although her attention often wanders south of the border to American politics.  Kristen is also an avid sports fan, and she would champion the Yankees over the Red Sox any day of the week.
