Wendy graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2005 where she concentrated on Corporate-Commercial law. After spending her final semester at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand, Wendy spent the following year in Bali, Indonesia. In that year, she and her husband, Jamie, built a house together and tied the knot on the beach with all their friends and family from Canada and Australia present. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Wendy obtained a B.Sc in Microbiology at the University of Dalhousie and went on to work as an Environmentalist before moving to British Columbia in 1998 to study Forensic Science.

Wendy joins us from the Financial Institutions Commission, Ministry of Finance where she worked as a financial investigator for one year focusing on the areas of unlicensed real estate activity, mortgage broker complaints and deposit-taking business.

Wendy’s interests lie in kayaking, hiking and surfing. When she isn’t traveling, you can always find her practicing her golf swing or reading a new book.
